The purpose of the project is to develop cooperation between VET schools (Vocational Educational Training) and working life in European countries. The objective is to promote employment and professional skills and competences in different European countries.
There are 16 partners and 3 associated partners from 4 European countries driving this initiative. It provides a bridge between the skills mismatch in the labourforce and the job requirements of many organisations.
Moreover, the “sustain” means that we establish a network of schools, chambers, businesses and other organisations to grow the skillset of our labourforce.
Therefore, this project concentrates on qualitative high VET practices. In reality it means to increase the attractiveness of VET practices based on the needs of the labour market. Apart from the power of creating an European network of stakeholders we will include digitalisation, green transition, and internationalisation as as core elements in the implementation of VET.
The project aims to reach minimally 300+ students, 150+ work life representatives and numerous Vet teachers, policy makers and potential students and their parents. Our network will be supported by an online platform for VET practitioners.
The dissemination of the results are key and sustainable. Learningdigital provides knowledge in terms of the educational transformation journey as well as the digitalisation of the ePlatfrom, the introduction of AI in learning and a XR reality.
We innovate with the goal to support students with digital skills, soft skills, lifelong learning, collaboration with employers, as well as diversity and inclusion. VET can prepare students for the jobs of the future.
