Learningdigital embarked on a transformative journey with IDC-VET. The IDC-VET project has been financed within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme as part of the mission of the EU to promote digitalisation in the education sector. It is part of the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigiCompEdu).
A great collaboration between 7 partners from 6 European countries.
Let’s talk about the project. It aims to:
- to empower individuals with digital skills
- combatting discrimination
- and fostering inclusivity in the workforce.
What we produced for the next generation of teachers and trainers:
- A tool for mapping and assessing teacher digital competencies
- Learning scenarios
- A digital repository of Open Educational resources and best practice exemplars
The tool will identify the level of digital competence development and bridge the gap between school assessment (SELFIE) and individual assessment. The learning scenarios are practical guides for VET trainers on how to use digitalisation as a teaching technique. We created an e-learning hub holding OER resources and best practice documentation.
The role of Learningdigital is manifold. We participated in the design of the competency framework as well as being the creators of the Digital platform.
